WHAT IS A MINI-FACELIFT?
A mini facelift is a less extensive procedure compared to a full facelift or what Dr. Chernoff refers to as a deep plane facelift. A mini facelift restores lost volume of the mid-face, improves lines around the mouth, and vertical “accordion wrinkles” in the mid-face, and improves mild-to-moderate jowls.
WHAT IS A FULL FACELIFT?
For people with hanging skin, deep lines, and jowls, Dr. Chernoff may recommend a full facelift also referred to as a deep plane facelift. A full facelift is also considered a minimally invasive procedure and requires about 1 week of recovery time.
