Dr. Chernoff often combines FaceTite with other face or neck procedures, such as, Ellevate, facelift, neck lift, mini-facelift and neck liposuction to achieve facial rejuvenation results not possible in the past.
While FaceTite can be an effective non-surgical skin tightening procedure and gives an “instant lift,” as a stand-alone procedure, it does not address all of the facial rejuvenation goals for all patients. As a facial plastic surgeon, Dr. Chernoff may recommend FaceTite to his surgical facial patients; i.e., deep plane facelift, neck lift, and mini-facelift patients to achieve the best possible results. For example, Dr. Chernoff will advise patients who desire to re-contour their neck (jowls) with liposuction and/or Ellevate, and FaceTite to contour their neck and jawline with skin tightening. Liposuction is effective at removing excess fatty deposits and FaceTite works to tighten the skin. What is FaceTite?
FaceTite uses Radio Frequency (RF) energy to accurately and uniformly stimulate collagen and tighten skin. This new non-surgical contouring procedure provides three-dimensional tissue remodeling with noticeable improvement seen in the following 6 to 12 months.*
FaceTite alone is a good option for men and women who are experiencing the early signs of common skin aging concerns (sagging neck skins, marionette lines around the mouth and fine lines/wrinkles in the lower face) due to decreased collagen and elastin but do not have too much extra loose skin or fat deposits.
Who is a Candidate for FaceTite and What Areas Can Be Treated?
There is no “one-treatment fits all” as Dr. Chernoff customizes his treatments based on his patient’s facial rejuvenation goals and the condition of their facial skin. For individuals with mild-to-moderate skin laxity and no neck fat, FaceTite can be a good stand-alone non-surgical treatment. For other men and women with significant skin laxity, fat deposits and loose hanging skin, a facelift and/or neck lift combined with FaceTite may be recommended by Dr. Chernoff to provide optimal results.
In other patients, Dr. Chernoff may recommend combing FaceTite with other non-surgical procedures such as laser treatments and injectables, or surgical procedures including neck liposuction, Ellevate, mini-facelift, deep plane facelift, and neck lift to provide additional improvement for patients.

How is a FaceTite Procedure Performed?
How is a FaceTite Procedure Performed?
The FaceTite procedure is performed under local anesthesia with light IV sedation. Dr. Chernoff inserts a small, narrow probe through an incision in the skin at the edge of the jaw just below the ear. The incision is very small so there is no scarring.*
A narrow wand (FaceTite device) is precisely and slowly moved along the patient’s jawline where Radio Frequency (RF) energy heats the tissue resulting in liquefaction of excess fat and skin contraction. New collagen growth is stimulated in the deep layers of the skin. Uniform heat is applied throughout the procedure providing results that are smooth and even with no damage done to the skin.
The entire procedure may last between one to several hours depending on other procedures that may be performed with FaceTite.* Downtime and recovery will be explained based on other procedures performed with FaceTite.
Dr. Chernoff require a compression garment be worn after the procedure to minimize swelling and improve results. Improvement will be seen directly following the treatment, with further improvement after the swelling resolves. Over time patients see a more youthful appearance that continues to improve due to the increased collagen and elastin productions.*
